Youth mentorship helps teens get back on track
Youth Mentorship program volunteers work directly with youth that are going through the Restorative Justice program. These teens have been referred by the courts as an alternative to jail time for their crimes.
For youth, a strong determining factor for deviance and criminality is the lack of positive support people in their lives. Volunteer mentors help youth feel comfortable with the restorative justice process and confident in their ability to complete the program requirements.
Your donation to United Way helps fund programs that empower positive change for our youth community.
