- Emergency dental services (Nanaimo)
People living in poverty or experiencing homelessness receive emergency dental services to help improve their oral health and personal well-being.
- Seniors lunch program (Campbell River)
Seniors facing financial hardship, health concerns, and social isolation come together for nutritional hot lunches and exercise programs.
- Mental illness education (Comox)
Adults with severe or chronic mental illness – most of whom live in poverty – create and perform puppet shows at several schools each year to educate kids about mental illness.
- Mentoring program for vulnerable kids (Cowichan Valley)
Children are matched with responsible role models who support them to reach their full potential as they overcome the challenges of growing up.
